The record lists the municipality as Sassari, but Rena Majore beach, the site of the discovery, falls within the municipality of Aglientu, about ninety kilometres away on the opposite coast. No contemporary press coverage has been found under either municipality hypothesis. Anyone able to clarify the exact municipality can help correct the record.
