On 4 September 1999 Il Tirreno published an article titled 'A Pontremoli. Scheletro umano scoperto da un cacciatore in un bosco' (Pontremoli. Human skeleton discovered by a hunter in a wood), about skeletal remains found in the Dozzano area, under the motorway toward Zeri, later taken to the morgue of Pontremoli hospital. The page existed in the newspaper's digital archive but is no longer reachable, nor preserved elsewhere in a readable copy. Anyone holding a paper copy of that edition could help document the case.
