L'articolo aggiunge dettagli utili al riconoscimento non presenti sulla scheda: alto circa 1,68, capelli brizzolati, corporatura gracile, camicia marrone, maglietta di cotone chiara a girocollo, jeans, scarpe da ginnastica scure, orologio di marca "Kiss", una catenina al collo con tre ciondoli (l'effigie di Papa Giovanni xxiii, un'immagine della Madonna dell'Orto di Chiavari, una medaglietta del Mundial '78), un fazzoletto bianco, un accendino usa e getta e 160 lire in tasca. Era senza documenti; la descrizione non corrispondeva ad alcuna persona scomparsa denunciata nei mesi precedenti.
